Watching the first few episodes, it's striking how different 'Marty' is compared to the later incarnations. The original Marty plays the character okay, maybe a bit grumpy and sullen even before his dad's misfortune. What did you think of the original?
I often look up actors to see how their life developed, and what they're up to now, but he seems to have faded into the ether.

Awesome. Good find. I don't have a dedicated f.book a/c, but there's enough there to see that it is indeed him.

I liked the character - very sullen and filed with teen angst, as already said. It was interesting to show him as someone who resented the prisoners for having more of his parents' time than he did (or thought he did which, to be fair, amounts to much the same thing as far as his 'feeling' it goes). It's a shame we didn't see more of 'young' Marty and that later incarnations didn't show some of those earlier jealous/envious/resentful personality traits. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Sad to see reference to the passing of his brother Robert Korosy, who apparently appeared in Episode 491 of Prisoner. He had a role in the later years of The Young Doctors as Flint Stone, I remember watching these, I think he assisted Ada running the kiosk. Must have only been in his 50’s, I guess.

Just in case anybody can't see the link.

I wonder if his hair as Marty Jackson was a proper perm job then and not natural?

Didn't realise his brother was in it either!

Nice find (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) He looks a bit like Matt Preston in the picture to the right. He did a pretty good job as the first Marty.

If anyone wants to see him even younger (and in glorious monochrome) he pops up in a few episodes of Matlock Police in 1971-2.
