Poll suggested by Mark.

It is multiple choice so you can select more than one for who you think were the best - however, please post below who you felt was the best Officer if you can pick ONE.

The poll means you must tick at least one box in each section, so I have added a " None in this section" box to tick if you do not want to select any in that part.

I have put in a few officers who are more "background" BUT they appear AND speak in more than one episode. (for example Officer Carter speaks in 4 episodes).

(A non-Wentworth officers poll will be coming soon - and maybe a non-speaking/less-speaking officers poll)

There are so many officers here who I like, so it's difficult to boil it down to just one - so I chose three from each category. In no particular order, then:

Joan Ferguson
Jim Fletcher
Terry Harrison

Len Murphy
Colleen Powell
Bob Moran

A mixture of good and bad on show here. I'd say Joan Ferguson was my overall best, with Len Murphy a fairly close second. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I voted for 3 in each section.

R.Adams, as I thought he was a buffoon, but great at being one.

S. Fawkner: A good character, shined up the show when he first arrived, but tailed off dramatically after Joan appeared.

T. Harrison: Good storylines. Good depth to the character and of course the complex relationship with Vera.

(I was thick and didn't see Jim Fletch in this section, and I would have included him too)

Next section:

R. Manning: Really liked the character. Was sad to see him go.

J. Stewart: Goes without saying

L. Murphy: Excellent. Considered him a 'new' Jock Stewart. I think he would have been off the charts brilliant had he appeared in the earlier years when, in my opinion, the show was generally better)

(I was again thick and didn't notice Collen in this section, hence I would have voted for her too)

Section 1
Dennis - A decent man but no fool.
Steve - Another decent man.
Joan - Come on, the lady is a legend!
Jim - My favourite. Firm but fair.

Section 2
Meg - Knows her job. Compassionate.
Rick - Genial, decent
Bob - An older version of Jim. Firm but fair.

First section - Vera and Sally Dean

Wow Sally Dean? Tell us why.

I opted for a few that most probably wouldn't pick which includes Gail Ward because when she speaks she steals the scene and Di Hagen with her one lines here and there. I also went for Po Face and Joan. I do like a lot of others but was trying to be picky and different lol. I also love that Joan Barfield was once left in charge while Meg, Colleen and Joan were being interviewed ha.

If I had to pick ONE I would go for Colleen Powell as I just love those witty remarks. Although saying that - perhaps realistically Joan gave us more entertainment.

I just loved the whole premise of a new screw being infatuated with Vera and trying to emulate her but failing miserably. I loved how quickly Sally became violent when she was shown up by the women.
My fave 'non speaking' officer was Wendy Sharp - who died during the lassa fever storyline.

Oh yes it was interesting.

I forgot I also voted for David Bridges because of that creepy storyline!! There were many others I probably should have voted for to be honest.
